My new favorite thing...

After seeing Stephanie's post about her aprons in her favorite things post, I had to make one! Hers are from Anthropologie and are gorgeous! Mine is homemade and well, not as pretty. LOL! However, I'm quite proud of how it turned out! I'm probably going to change it up a bit by putting a bib on the top. After all, that's where all the mess ends up when I cook!

So, I'm really bad about keeping my blog updated. I'm so busy with life, I forget to share it with others! School is coming to an end, so the running around should hopefully stop soon. I have the 3 little dudes home today. The 3 big kids are at school today and half of tomorrow. We're putting our house up for sale. I've been busy with sessions, editing, laundry, working out, and....stuff! Ok, see it's taken me an hour to type this b/c I keep getting distracted with stuff I need to do. Anyway, here's a few pics of the kids from recently. I need to go work out while the 2 littlest dudes are sleeping. We are going to the dentist today. 3 of the 6 pack have appointments. I guess I should bring my camera since today is Ty's first visit! How I'm going to do that with 5 kids in tow is beyond me!

This family was sooo sweet! Five boys can be a handful, I'm sure! They were all so well behaved and polite! I really enjoyed meeting them. I love our big family of eight and really enjoy meeting other couples who have lots of kiddos! "Y" has a friend with a house down on the water. It was gorgeous! Very sunny, though, so it was challenging to find some places of open shade for the pics.

Twelve Years Ago...

....0ur baby girl was born! I've been in denial that she's growing up. It was not that long ago that she was itty bitty, running around the house in her pretty little dresses and hair bows. Now, she's on her way to being a teenager! Gasp!! Say it isn't so! "B" is such a blessing from the Lord! We are so thankful for her. I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. Kevin and I were both so excited when the Dr announced "It's a girl!" She's grown up into a sweet, beautiful girl! (yes, girl...I'm not budging on that word yet, lol) Our prayer is that she will seek the Lord in everything she does!


I made lettuce wraps for dinner tonight (one of her faves!), and then we topped that off with some lemon cupcakes, smothered in homemade cream cheese frosting! YUM!

On Saturday, we went to Vermillionville with this family. I had the pleasure of having a session with these two gorgeous kids! I've only edited a couple of pics, and I'm already so excited! "C" is so pretty! Seriously, look what I had to work with! I think every single shot of her is awesome! "B" was not as willing to model as big sister (he'd much rather be off playing with my boys!), but he was still sooo good! He sat still and did whatever I asked him too. So, here's your sneak peak, Abi! I can't wait to edit the rest of them! Maybe I'll add a few more after my session this evening.
