My new favorite thing! - Louisiana Photographer

We've had this empty spot in our living room near the front door for awhile now. I've been searching for the perfect piece to go there. Guess what?? I found it! Here. I loved it at first sight a few months ago, but I wasn't sure how it would look in my living room. Well, I went in last month, and they'd marked it down! Everything looks better when it's on sale! I bought it and got it home....I immediately loved it! Even my wonderful husband decided that he liked. It's exactly what I've been looking for! I wanted something small but with plenty of storage for all the art stuff and games that we accumulate for the Six Pack. It's a good thing I have this photo, b/c the beautiful tulips that my honey got me for V-day are long gone. A gardener, I am not!

So, "R" thinks he's hot stuff now. He is climbing on EVERYTHING! I think one of his favorite things to do is push this little yellow chair up to the TV and turn it on and off while "T" is watching something. It's a right of passage. I think each of my kids have done this. Here's "R"on one of his new ventures- climbing on the tables. Oh he can also push it up to the piano and climb on TOP of the piano!

I'm also still trying out some new actions from this blog. Some are good. Some are just weird. The good thing is most are completely adjustable and she gives instructions on how to use them. I'm not usually a fan of actions b/c I find there's really no "one size fits all" magic cure for pics. I always end up tweaking it somehow so it usually ends up to be more trouble than if I just edit it on my own.

This is the Single Shot Color Pop. I found the double and triple a bit harder to follow.

I took this last week. I used the "Perfect Portrait" action on this. Now, keep in mind that you will have to do any color correction before running these actions. This action was a lot of work! you have to do about 13 steps and be SURE to follow her close instructions to know what you're doing.
